The sixth annual Cooley Coast Run has been confirmed for Friday 20th May 2016. The route takes competitors alongCooley’s famous coast line, taking in the wonderful scenery of Carlingford Lough and the Mourne and Cooley mountains. There is a change this year as we are replacing the 12.5k race with a 5k run/walk, with the 10k course remaining as before. The Cooley Coast Run, sponsored by local firm Open Hydro, is now an established event on the runningcalendar with over 400 participants annually.
Prize categories in the 10k race include over 40s, over 45s and over 50s for both Male and Female races.
Online registration will close at midnight on Thursday 19th of May. Registration on the day of the race is slightly more expensive at €25, so get registered early!
Free soup and sandwiches will be provided to all participants after the race. Ample parking will be provided at CooleyKickhams grounds, and shower facilities will be available afterwards.
Details on where and when you can collect your Race Pack will be provided in due course.
